October 07, 2024
The issuer of the largest stablecoin, USDT, Tether, has announced the release of a documentary film dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the asset. The film, titled “Stability and Freedom in Chaos,” will explore how USDT has become a financial tool that has helped millions of people worldwide cope with inflation and achieve economic freedom.
What awaits viewers?
The trailer showcases stories of people sharing their views on using USDT amid the devaluation of national currencies. The film aims to illustrate how the stablecoin helps combat economic challenges and becomes a crucial element in maintaining financial stability.
Tether’s CEO, Paolo Ardoino, emphasized: “We strive to provide financial accessibility for billions of people, especially in developing countries, where many cannot access banking services due to low profitability for banks, as well as for those suffering from high inflation.”
He noted that the stablecoin is used by hundreds of millions of people as a digital equivalent of the dollar, and the number of new wallets continues to grow by tens of millions each quarter.
Interestingly, earlier, director Cullen Hoback, the creator of the film *Money Electric*, claimed that his project reveals the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of Bitcoin.
