Insights from Kursoff at FutureTech MeetUp Go Global
September 15, 2025
On September 4, 2025, Kyiv once again became the gathering point for the most ambitious players in Ukraine’s tech scene. At FutureTech MeetUp: Go Global, startup founders, venture investors, government officials, diplomats, media, and everyone working on the international expansion of Ukrainian technology came together — and we were there with them.
The mission of the event — scaling
The organizers — Diia.City United together with the Ukrainian Startup Fund — set an ambitious goal: to help Ukrainian companies not only survive during wartime, but also enter the global market. Sounds like a challenge? Absolutely. And that was the mood in the room: determination, experience, lots of networking, and candid conversations.
Topics that were actively discussed included:
-
Which expansion strategies work — and which don’t.
-
How to adapt a product to a new audience.
-
The investor’s role in scaling.
-
The key mistakes startups make.
-
How crypto and blockchain companies can expand beyond Ukraine — a topic that’s becoming especially relevant.
Speakers and ideas that inspired
The lineup included leaders from Ajax Systems, MEGOGO, NOVA, venture funds like Horizon Capital, and investors from Silicon Valley — all sharing hands-on experience.
For the crypto space, the panel on product localization was particularly relevant — how blockchain solutions can speak the language of local markets, understand user needs, and comply with regulatory frameworks.
Our team was at the center of it all
Naturally, we attended and managed to:
-
talk with crypto startup representatives already operating in the EU and the US;
-
discuss potential partnerships with several venture funds;
- build connections with members of the Diia.City ecosystem who shared their scaling experience.
And most importantly — networking. After the official part came coffee, live conversations, and new connections. The most valuable takeaway was the sense of unity: despite the challenges, Ukraine’s tech community is not just holding on — it’s growing and going global.
We’re already working on new partnerships, and this event became a catalyst for us. More to come 🔥
