Exchange Mafia: transparency, speed, and a team of professionals
November 27, 2025
The crypto market is changing rapidly, but clients’ core values remain the same: honesty, speed, and security. These are exactly the principles behind the work of Exchange Mafia — a service that has managed to build trust in a competitive niche and attract real attention. We spoke with the founder about his path in crypto since 2017, the principles that shape their service, and the team’s view of how the market is evolving today.
— Hi! Let’s start with the basics: tell us about yourself and your service. How long have you been in the crypto sphere?
I’ve been in crypto since 2017 — right around the time when the whole world suddenly decided to “mine just for fun.” It looked like a trend back then, but for me it became a profession.
We created Exchange Mafia together with the team when we realized the market lacked a service where everything works simply, quickly, and without unnecessary questions. Today we process exchanges all across Ukraine, making sure clients feel as calm and protected as possible.
— How would you describe Exchange Mafia to someone hearing about you for the first time? What makes you special?
It’s a service where:
- No hidden fees,
- Payments always arrive on time,
- Communication is transparent,
- Speed is among the highest on the market.
We don’t play the “oh, the rate changed” or “oh, it didn’t go through” game — we work honestly and consistently, which is why clients return.
— Why “Mafia”? Is there a story behind the name?
When launching the service, we wanted a name that immediately conveyed seriousness, responsibility, and style. During one of the brainstorms, someone from the team said: “We’re basically like a small mafia — our own rules, our own reputation, our own honor.”
That resonated with everyone. Not in the sense of anything “illegal,” but in the sense of teamwork, responsibility, keeping your word, and supporting one another. That’s how the name Exchange Mafia appeared — a symbol of our team that works precisely and protects its reputation.
— You won the nomination ‘Transparency and Responsibility.’ In your opinion, what contributed most to this recognition?
- A complete lack of hidden fees.
- Strict deadlines and timely payouts.
- Considering each client’s preferences.
- A fully open approach: we explain every step, hide nothing, and always warn about risks.
This is the foundation on which trust and stability are built.
— Users sometimes ask: “Do you have a license?” How do you explain the difference between a document and real security? And is this even the number-one question today?
We explain calmly: a license is a formality, while a safe service is defined not by a document but by reputation, lack of complaints, speed, and transparency of operations.
In crypto, the rule is simple: one year of honest work is worth more than ten certificates on the wall.
— What exchange script do you use? Why did you choose it?
We usually skip this question. For clients, the script doesn’t matter — the results do: speed, protection, and stability.
— Which communication format is most effective for you: chat, Telegram, email?
Telegram comes first. It’s fast, convenient, and allows us to respond quickly. Email is also available for those who prefer a more formal channel.
— What AML and crypto-processing requirements are critically important to you?
- Speed of processing requests.
- Workflow transparency.
- No suspicious transactions.
We work only “in the clear field” — it saves both our nerves and those of our clients.
— Have there been situations where transparency helped avoid risks or misunderstandings?
Yes, many times. When a client sees all conditions in advance — the fee, the process, the deadlines — there’s no room for conflict. It's not just a nice phrase; it truly reduces risks almost to zero.
— Do you think now is a good time to launch a new exchange service? What are the main challenges?
It’s possible, but not easy. The main challenges are high competition, transparency requirements, service speed, and market trust. Without reputation, speed, and honesty, chances are low. The market is growing, but expectations grow even faster.
— Do you participate in crypto events, meetups, or closed communities? If so, how useful is it?
Yes, we periodically attend industry events and closed chats. It’s useful for networking, finding partners, and understanding market trends.
— Which cryptocurrencies or sectors do you believe have the most potential over the next two years?
- BTC as the foundation.
- ETH due to L2 development.
- Stablecoins because of global payment integration.
- Infrastructure projects (L2, zk technologies).
- Partially AI tokens — if the market finds real use cases for them.
— When did you first hear about Bitcoin, and did you believe in it at the time?
Back in 2017, at the peak of the “mining boom.” I didn’t believe immediately — it seemed too chaotic. But once I saw how the technology solves real problems, it became clear that it’s here to stay.
— Do you hold any crypto? Can you share without naming exact amounts?
Yes, I do. No figures, but the structure is simple: part in BTC, part in ETH, part in promising infrastructure projects. A classic strategy — but a working one.
— Is our closed P2P Kursoff Telegram group useful to you?
Yes, it is. You can find verified partners there, get feedback, and see relevant cases. Communities like this are a “market within the market,” and they’re truly useful.
— What emotions did you and the team feel when you learned about the win? Was it unexpected?
It was a pleasant surprise. We work every day without unnecessary showmanship — just doing our job — and when this is appreciated, it motivates us even more. For us, it’s confirmation that we’re moving in the right direction.
— Thank you for the conversation! What would you wish to Kursoff readers and your colleagues in the market?
Work honestly and consistently. Keep your word. Don’t hide behind fancy promises or documents — provide real service. And most importantly — stay in this profession with a cool head.
