A new level of integration in the USDT Tether ecosystem

The TON blockchain is making a significant step in cross-chain interaction by integrating with LayerZero and gaining access to Tether’s USDt ecosystem. This will simplify asset transfers between blockchains without complex technical solutions. According to TON Foundation, the integration will connect TON to 100+ networks, including Ethereum, Tron, and Solana, expanding its capabilities in digital assets and DeFi.
How does the integration work?
LayerZero is a protocol that facilitates data and asset exchange between blockchains. The integration of TON enhances compatibility with leading networks and expands user possibilities. Key partners—Tether, Ethena, and Stargate—will enable seamless USDT transfers to TON from Ethereum, Tron, and other networks.
Strengthening positions
TON is actively developing cross-chain integrations, including the successful TON Application Chain project, which connects TON and Ethereum developers. The integration with LayerZero strengthens TON’s position in the USDT ecosystem by expanding access to liquidity and simplifying cross-chain transfers.
