Mt. Gox made a BTC transfer worth billions of dollars

A cryptocurrency wallet associated with Mt. Gox moved a significant amount of digital gold to three new addresses on November 4. This was one of the largest BTC transfers in 2024.
Asset movement
According to the data, part of the funds was moved to centralized cryptocurrency exchanges OKX and B2C2.
In total, over the past four days, Mt. Gox transferred 32,871 BTC (worth approximately $2.22 billion). Of these tokens, 296 BTC ($20.13 million) were sent to B2C2 and OKX exchanges.
Current balance
At the time of publication, it is known that Mt. Gox wallets still hold around 12,006 BTC ($810 million). The total value of the remaining BTC is estimated at $825 million.
