Trump's victory raises hopes within the U.S. cryptocurrency industry, as he has repeatedly demonstrated a pro-crypto stance.
In his election campaign, Trump promised to end the war on digital assets and even stated that he would make the United States the crypto capital of the world.
Staffing promises
In July 2024, Trump was the keynote speaker at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, Tennessee. There, he assured that immediately upon returning to power, he would dismiss the current chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Gary Gensler.
His replacement could potentially be Commissioner Hester Peirce, known for her commitment to cryptocurrencies.
Support for miners
As part of his pro-Bitcoin policy, Trump promised to create a strategic BTC reserve in the U.S., planning to accumulate 200,000 BTC.Trump also actively supports the mining industry. He has repeatedly expressed his willingness to promote BTC mining development in the U.S. to position the country as a global leader in this sector.
The co-founder of the Satoshi Action Fund believes that Trump’s victory signifies the end of the anti-Bitcoin movement in the U.S. He also noted that the United States has every chance to become the world's largest pro-Bitcoin nation.
