Regulation&Security

January 29, 2025

Crypto.com is among the first exchanges to announce the delisting of the USDT stablecoin and several other tokens in response to the implementation of new crypto-asset market regulations (MiCA) in Europe. A platform representative confirmed that purchasing USDT and other affected assets will be suspended starting January 31, 2025.

Which tokens are being delisted?

According to data published on social media and in emails from the exchange, the list of excluded assets includes USDT, WBTC, DAI, PAX, PAXG, PYUSD, CDCETH, CDCSOL, LCRO, and XSGD.

Starting January 31, deposits in these assets will no longer be available, but withdrawals will be possible until the end of the first quarter of 2025. The final delisting and automatic conversion are scheduled for March 31.

Action plan for users

The exchange recommends that users convert the mentioned assets into MiCA-compliant stablecoins by March 31. Otherwise, the system will automatically convert any remaining balances into alternative digital assets of similar market value.
