Commerzbank enters into partnership with Crypto Finance to provide services with cryptocurrencies

Commerzbank announced a partnership with Crypto Finance to offer its corporate clients trading and custody services for BTC and ETH. This initiative targets clients seeking secure and convenient access to digital assets.

Cryptocurrency custody license

Commerzbank became the first universal bank in Germany to obtain a license for cryptocurrency custody. This enables the institution to significantly expand its range of digital asset management services.

As part of the collaboration, Commerzbank will be responsible for the custody of digital assets, while Crypto Finance will ensure secure trading.

Expanding market influence

A member of the Commerzbank management board noted that this partnership allows the bank’s clients to access BTC and ETH trading for the first time. At the same time, the joint solution ensures a high level of security in the trading and custody of digital assets, aligning with Deutsche Börse Group standards.

The CEO of Crypto Finance added that the partnership will help the company expand its market presence by providing regulated cryptocurrency services to more companies and institutions in Germany.
