On October 31, Bitget Wallet announced the official launch of Bitget Wallet Lite — a multi-chain wallet integrated into Telegram, allowing users to buy, store, and send cryptocurrency directly within the app.
Rapid user growth
The official launch of Bitget Wallet Lite took place three days after the soft launch on October 28. Since then, the mini-app has attracted six million visitors.
In the first two days, Bitget Wallet Lite reached three million customers, and on the day of the official launch, the number of monthly users exceeded six million, which accounts for half of Bitget Wallet's total user base.
Strategies and campaigns
The Chief Operating Officer of Bitget Wallet explained that the rapid growth was driven by strategic campaigns and innovative features.
The executive added that a targeted campaign was launched in messenger groups, offering gifts for the first million users, which created urgency and incentivized users to join.
Partnerships with other platforms
Bitget Wallet Lite also achieved success through collaboration with other mini-apps, such as Tomarket, which expanded its audience reach on Telegram.
Additionally, referral programs played a significant role in the growth. A representative emphasized that users could earn rewards for inviting friends, contributing to further expansion of the user base.
