The  story of WxMoney: turning crypto passion into a successful exchange

May 07, 2025

— Hi! Let's start with a bit about you. What's your name, which exchange service do you represent, and when did you get into crypto?

— Hi! My name is Oleksii, I am the founder and CEO of the WxMoney exchange service. I've been in crypto since 2017 — initially as an investor and a regular user. But my passion grew into an idea to create my own project that would be useful and understandable for people. That's how WxMoney came to life.

— How would you describe WxMoney for those who are hearing about it for the first time? What makes you stand out among competitors?

— WxMoney is all about speed, honesty, and real service with a human touch. We're not chasing volumes; we are chasing trust. We focus on minimum formalities and maximum live dialogue with the client. Stable rates, quick support, transparency — that's what sets us apart.

— How did the name WxMoney come about?

— Simple and functional: «W» and «X» as a hint to «exchange,» plus «Money.» We wanted something short, clear, and not tied to a specific coin.

— Do you have a license for your activities?

— We operate under a P2P model, which currently does not require a license. But we are closely monitoring changes in legislation and are ready to act officially as soon as it becomes necessary.

— What script are you using?

— It's a custom-built script, specifically tailored to our needs. It's important for us to have full control and flexibility in settings, plus security is our priority.

— What chat platform do you use for customer support?

— Binotel + Telegram. Telegram is the most convenient channel for our clients, and we fully support that.

— What kind of crypto processing do you use, and how about AML checks?

— We work with several solutions: automatic wallets, integrations with providers. AML checks are a mandatory step, especially for large or suspicious amounts. It's a matter of security for all parties involved.

— What's the biggest mistake new exchanges make?

— Chasing quick profits. We often see dumping prices, poor service — and in a few months, those services disappear. You need to build trust, reputation, customer service — and the money will follow.

— Does your team participate in crypto events?

— Yes, we try to stay up-to-date with everything happening. Lately, it's more online, but offline events are a must for networking.

— When did you first hear about Bitcoin, and when did you believe in it?

— I first heard about it in 2016, but I really "got it" only in 2017 when the market exploded. Since then, it's become a part of my life. I believe in BTC as a store of value and a core tool of the new financial system.

— Are you holding any crypto?

— Yes, BTC, ETH, and a bit of USDT for liquidity. Also, a few altcoins — mostly out of curiosity. But primarily, I focus on fundamentals.

— What do you think of our monitoring service, kursoff.biz? Any suggestions?

— It's a great tool. You really help users find reliable services. As for suggestions, maybe add more filters: by directions, geo, type of service. But overall, big respect for what you do!

— What do you think about the idea of the Kursoff Supervisory Board for joint moderation of reviews and dispute resolutions?

— A very good initiative. It would raise trust in the monitoring service. The main thing is clear rules and a transparent process so there are no questions left.

— How do you feel about our «Top Reputation of the Month» nomination?

— It's great! It adds extra motivation to work better. If everything is transparent and fair — why not?

— Is there any benefit from our closed P2P group in Telegram?

— Absolutely. You can get advice, quickly find a partner for exchange, and just stay in the loop. It's a very useful initiative for the professional community.

— Thank you for the insightful interview. What would you like to wish our readers and market colleagues?

— Patience, honesty, and growth to everyone. Crypto is a marathon, not a sprint. Build trust, maintain quality — and everything will work out!
