Next Block Expo in Warsaw: what the Kursoff team found interesting

March 31, 2026

To understand where Europe’s crypto market stands right now, a few hours at Next Block Expo in Warsaw are enough. Here, they talk about how to connect, set up, test, scale, and not fall apart at the very first reality check.

For the Kursoff team, this trip was a good opportunity to see the market as it is now. Large, competitive, and much more sober than a few years ago. And it was especially nice to see that Ukrainians are inside this process.

There were many Ukrainians at NBX, and it was felt immediately

One of the first things we noticed in Warsaw: there were a lot of Ukrainians. Not just a few familiar faces in the crowd, but a truly noticeable presence. Ukrainian teams, media representatives, speakers, people from exchanges, services, and product teams here did not look like random guests. They were part of this conversation.

For us, this became a separate signal. The Ukrainian crypto market continues to be visible in the international environment, and this has long no longer been held only by the reputation of past years. Experience, speed of adaptation, understanding of the product, and the ability to work in difficult conditions matter here.

Ivan Pavlovskyi and the role of Incrypted

At the conference, we spoke with Ivan Pavlovskyi. This conversation is exactly what helped us better understand why Ukrainian speakers were so noticeably represented at NBX.

Ivan said that Ukrainian speakers appeared here not by chance. The conference organizers approached Incrypted for help, and the team willingly joined in. That is, the presence of the Ukrainian side at NBX was not a formality or an episode for the sake of program diversity. It was real cooperation in which Ukrainian expertise turned out to be needed and relevant.

The scale of the conference was felt through the composition of participants

NBX brought together not just many people, but different parts of the market in one place: traders, exchanges, payment systems, Web3 teams, and B2B infrastructure.

This is exactly what gave the right sense of scale. In Warsaw, they talked not only about growth, but about launches, integrations, security, support, and work in new regulatory conditions. That is why the conference looked like a meeting of a market that is already working much more seriously.

MiCA is already felt here in practice

At NBX, it was noticeable that Europe’s new rules have already become a working reality for many companies. This could be read in the very emphasis: fewer loud promises, more conversations about licensing, compliance, payment solutions, integrations, and a stable operating model.

Because of this, the overall tone of the conference was different too. The market seemed to become more sober: less desire to impress with a beautiful presentation, more focus on what can really work for a long time and without failures in the new conditions.

At the booths, it was clear who is really confident in their product

The most interesting things at such events often happen not on stage, but in short conversations near the booths. That is exactly where it quickly becomes clear who is selling a beautiful idea and who is selling a product.

There were many Web3 teams at NBX that shared a lot of interesting information. Without unnecessary noise, but with a clear understanding of what exactly they offer. Especially memorable were those who are so confident in their solution that they offer a free two-week trial period. This approach shows the team’s mindset well: the focus here is not on a quick effect, but on long and productive cooperation.

Exchanges, traders, payment systems, and B2B were in one field

One of NBX’s strong sides is that it clearly shows how different parts of the market work side by side. On one platform there were traders, exchanges, payment services, and B2B teams that build infrastructure for the crypto business.

The conference is definitely a must-visit: few abstract conversations, more about launch, connection, scaling, and stable work in new conditions.

What was most memorable off the stage

The most interesting part of NBX was often not on stage, but next to it. In short conversations near the booths, it quickly became clear who is simply presenting themselves and who really understands their product and the market.

What NBX showed for Kursoff

The trip to Next Block Expo in Warsaw gave us the opportunity to see the market without other people’s retellings and advertising presentation. On site, it is clearly visible who is really building a strong product, who is already adapting to the new rules, and who is still relying more on presentation than on real value.

NBX left a clear impression: the European crypto market is becoming more demanding about quality, stability, and readiness to work in new conditions. And against this background, it was especially important to see that Ukrainians are confidently present here – in the program, in conversations, in networking, and in the very movement of the industry.
