PegasusSwap is the winner in the nomination "The largest number of reviews on Kursoff in April 2025"
June 12, 2025
Today we introduce you to PegasusSwap — a service that earned recognition in our category "The Highest Number of Reviews on Kursoff for April 2025." This recognition was the result of Kursoff users’ activity and the high appreciation from the community, which indicates the rapidly growing trust in the platform.
In this interview, the founder of the service, Nick, will share his story of entering the crypto industry, talk about the philosophy of PegasusSwap, the key advantages of their custom-built script, as well as his thoughts on the importance of the Ukrainian language and community development.
- Hi! To start, give us a brief introduction: what’s your name, which exchange service do you represent, and how long have you been in the crypto scene?
- Hi! Thanks for the interest, I’ll gladly answer everything :) My name is Nick, I represent PegasusSwap. Personally, I’ve been in the crypto industry since 2018, but our service hasn’t been on the market for that long — we’ve been fully operational since February 2024.
- How would you describe the PegasusSwap exchanger for our readers? What are the main advantages and unique features that make your service stand out compared to other exchangers on the market?
- Reliability is our main quality. As a user, that’s what I would want to see first and foremost in the service I work with, so this is our top priority. I’d like to point out that we are also user-friendly, which is reflected in our active support service that is always ready to help, explain, and guide. And also — our ability to take criticism. This service was created for users, which means the user comes first, and we are ready to listen and grow together with our clients.
Speaking more technically, our exchanges take no more than 5 minutes, we support over 1000 coins, and we handle transactions of any complexity. In addition, we have a loyal KYC policy — we don’t ask clients for anything unnecessary. We aim to provide a reliable and private service for our users.
That’s about it :) I’d love to say even more, but I think this is enough.
- When you’re building a great service, you could talk about its advantages forever 🤌🏻 Why did you choose this particular name for the service?
- In general, naming things is not easy for me. So I decided not to invent anything new but to use something already familiar. Why Pegasus? Because I’ve always liked mythology. It symbolizes bravery, inspiration, and imagination.
- Tell us about your team. How many people work with you? How are the responsibilities distributed?
- Our staff consists of 15 people. We are one big team divided into subgroups responsible for development, compliance, operations, and service support.
“If you want to go fast — go alone, if you want to go far — go together.”
Internal and external communication is very important to us, because I believe everything can be resolved through proper discussion.
- Do you have an official license for crypto activity?
- Currently, we are registered in a jurisdiction that does not regulate cryptocurrency at the legislative level. At the same time, we plan to obtain a license in the near future.
- What software script do you use to manage your exchange service, and what advantages does it provide you?
- We developed the script ourselves — we put our heart into it. First and foremost, it allows us to flexibly determine the exchange route depending on liquidity, deposit complexity, risk level, or any other parameters. Overall, our script is very smart and gives us flexibility in every sense.
- What languages is your website functionality available in? Given the growing number of exchange services that started adding the Ukrainian language after the full-scale invasion began, do you support this trend? How important is it for you to localize the service specifically for Ukrainian users?
- Currently, only English is available. I fully support this trend — it’s something we’ve truly been missing: self-identification through language. So having Ukrainian available on services is incredibly cool!
Right now we’re not planning to add multilingual support to our service — English is enough. But as a future option — it’s quite possible, starting with the most common languages.
- What chat do you use on your website to provide online support to your clients?
- We use the Tawk chat. But at the same time, we’re developing our own private chat that will work without JavaScript. So we’re waiting to finish testing and switch to our secure customer support product ;)
- What crypto processing do you use to receive cryptocurrencies, and does your service perform AML checks on incoming transactions?
- We have our own wallets, which we use to generate unique addresses for each new transaction. For AML checks, we use Crystal and AML Bot.
- Does your team attend any crypto conferences or events related to crypto?
- We plan to attend Monerokon in Prague and Monerotopia in Mexico. We’d love to attend as many as possible, but it depends on our capabilities. We’re open to invitations ;)
- How and when did you first learn about Bitcoin? Did you immediately see the potential in it?
In 2018 — I started with trading and gradually dove deeper into the processes of the crypto industry. At first, to be honest, I saw a volatile market and an opportunity to make money. But later I realized that it’s not just about that — it’s about the idea, about decentralization and privacy of financial transactions. About the ability to send any amount without interference from regulators or overseers.
And later I found out what Monero is ;)
- Do you hold any crypto? And if so, which ones?
- Of course. BTC, XMR, and a bit of ZANO for variety.
- What have you heard about our monitoring platform Kursoff.biz? What recommendations could you give based on your experience?
- I haven’t heard much so far, but I really like your approach. One recommendation — keep believing in what you do. I feel you have tremendous potential. Wishing you success!
- What do you think about our idea of creating the Kursoff Supervisory Board, where the most reputable and experienced exchangers will have the chance to collectively moderate all reviews, disputed situations, and problematic cases on the monitoring platform?
- I believe that such a thing can exist. Evaluation, moderation, and the like should be handled by an independent group of people so that opinions can’t be subjective. In such matters, objective assessment is important.
- What is your opinion on our monthly nomination “Top Service of the Month Among Exchangers” by Kursoff?
- Awesome! Very interesting and unique. I could add many more adjectives ;) It was a pleasure to receive an award from your service.
- Is there any practical benefit for you from our private Telegram group “p2p,” which includes only active players in this market? Maybe you’ve found something useful?
- The group needs to be developed and constantly monitored for participant integrity. For me personally, it hasn’t been useful yet, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time.
- Thank you for the insightful interview. What would you wish to our readers and fellow business colleagues?
- Thank you, likewise. I’d wish success and to never stop moving forward on your path.
