Terraform opens compensation claims portal — deadline April 30

March 31, 2025

Terraform Labs (TFL), the company behind the collapsed Terra ecosystem, will open an official claims portal on March 31, allowing affected users to request compensation. The submission window will remain open until April 30, 2025.

The portal is managed by TFL’s liquidators in partnership with consulting firm Kroll. Their goal is to gather complete and verifiable data from users to assess potential reimbursements.

How to Submit a Claim

Claimants must register on the platform before the deadline, submit proof of asset ownership, and, in the case of third-party exchanges or platforms, provide read-only API keys. All sections of the claim form must be accurately and fully completed.

Once the submission period ends, the Wind Down Trust will review the claims and respond within 90 days — either with a proposed reimbursement amount or with a notice that more time is needed to review the request.

What Is Not Eligible

Claims for assets with a total market value under $100 will not be considered. The same applies to tokens issued under the Terra 2.0 initiative.

TFL emphasizes that providing complete, accurate information and verifying identity are essential steps in ensuring a valid claim.

Background: SEC Settlement

Earlier this year, Terraform Labs agreed to pay $4.47 billion in a settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), resolving key regulatory claims related to the collapse of the Terra platform.
